This 1-day NRA Basic Pistol course meets the requirements for the Colorado concealed carry permit. This class is also a favorite with beginners and experienced shooters alike.
The course is the prescribed NRA (National Rifle Association) 10 hour Basic Pistol Course and deals with the basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for owning and using a pistol safely.
Parents can also enroll their children (minimum age 10) to take the class with them.
Through this course, you will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, and shooting fundamentals.
We utilize the "hands-on" concept of learning which is designed to reinforce your learning experience.
Class begins at 9:30AM. Please plan to arrive by 9:15AM.
If you are taking this class to obtain your Colorado Concealed Carry permit, we strongly suggest that you follow it up by taking our Advanced Concealed Carry class - where you will learn about the laws regarding concealed carry, tactics, disarming techniques, how to spot danger, what to do if attacked, getting the upper hand, how to defend yourself with a gun or any makeshift weapon - and a whole lot more.
